Article: A MODEL OF SUSTAINABLE FINE JEWELRY - LULU LUXE
The goal of the Lulu Luxe Project is to generate enough funding to purchase the equipment and materials needed to produce the first set of samples for our new Lulu Luxe collection. Luxe will be at the core of Lulu Designs Jewelry, offering discerning collectors pieces made from precious metals that will last generations. One of our key objectives for this line is to become a model of efficient, environmentally-friendly and sustainable fine jewelry fabrication. Luxe will be a collection dedicated to a less is more approach. By fitting our studio with the equipment necessary for fine jewelry manufacturing we will be able to create our new line in-house from start to finish, greatly reducing our environmental footprint. We aim to celebrate the traditional art of jewelry making by consolidating the production process into one local space where we can combine ancient techniques with innovative design to create exquisite works of wearable art.
